Fundraisers
Turns out the best fundraiser is one people look forward to.

Your Donors Want to
Come to This One.
There are many reasons why trivia works so well as a fundraiser format. Here are a few….
Multiple Revenue Streams
Fundraising opportunities are stacked in a single event. You can charge team entry fees; run a silent auction or raffle
donated items; run a 50/50 drawing; sell food, drinks, and/or merch; and even charge for “answer lifelines”. The possibilities are nearly endless!
Low Overhead
Compared to galas, 5K run/walks, or
golf tournaments, trivia events are easier to plan and less costly to produce. You mainly need a venue. Titletown takes care of the game content and administration, the audio/visual, and the host. Some venues will partner with you for free in exchange for the bar revenue.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Local businesses are often interested in sponsoring your entire event, team tables, prizes, or even individual trivia rounds (“Round 2 brought to you by…”). It gives them visibility in a fun context, making it an easier ask than a straight donation.
Broad Appeal
Trivia attracts a wide demographic: young adults, professionals, retirees, families, and everyone in between. It’s accessible and non-intimidating in a way that black-tie events and golf tournaments are not.
Community Building
People come in teams, which means they’re already socially engaged. The competitive-but-fun atmosphere creates a shared experience that deepens people’s connection to your cause and to each other.
Donor Cultivation
It’s a natural setting to introduce new people to your organization without a hard sell. You can weave in your mission through themed trivia rounds, short videos, or a brief speech… people are receptive because they’re already having fun.
Repeatability
Unlike a one-off gala, trivia events are easy to turn into a recurring occasion (monthly, quarterly, bi-annually). That builds a loyal audience and a predictable donation stream over time.
Volunteer Friendly
The format is easy to delegate. And, since you don’t have to worry about running the game itself, volunteers can focus on handling peripherals, such as registration/logistics, a silent auction, building relationships with donors, etc.
THE BOTTOM LINE: trivia events are a winning fundraising formula.
They’re fun enough that people want to come, simple enough to execute on a tight budget, and flexible enough to raise funds in several ways at once.
TWO WAYS TO RAISE.
We offer two different types of fundraisers for your organization.
Fully Owned Fundraiser
Your team has direct control and responsibility for all planning and execution of the event. Titletown owns all things game-related. If you’d like help with event planning and execution, we can help with: venue selection; marketing & promotion; sponsorship sales.
Third-Party Fundraiser
Titletown plans and executes all aspects of the event. Your organization will be the sole beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds generated by the event and would only be responsible for granting Titletown permission to use your name and logo in promotional materials. Promotional assistance and on-site representation is welcome, but not required.
